Job Descriptions
Client Care Representative
A Client Care Representative coordinates reception-area
activities to ensure that the Practice runs smoothly. Representatives
work toward this end by performing the following duties:
Greet clients and their pets, making sure their wait is minimized.
Check out patients, accurately explain all services and charges on
invoices, process client payments and assure all medications prescribed
for the client are sent home with them.
Computer Skills: We would provide training on the practice
management software, however we would expect
you to have some essential familiarity with a computer based system.
Processing Clients and Patients: Accurately
recap all services and treatments on invoice for client, accurately
describe services rendered, answer client questions. Process client
payments on credit card device.
Medical Records Maintenance: Maintain medical records accurately
create, file
and pull computer records as
necessary.
Telephones/Communications: Answer a multiple line telephone system.
Respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate personnel.
Provide general information regarding basic patient care and
hospital proceedures.
Schedule appointments for office visits and surgeries.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Certified Veterinary Technicians perform a variety of animal
healthcare
duties to assist Veterinarians, Client Care Representatives, and
Administration in providing the highest quality medical care to the
patients of Advanced Care Pet Hospital.
The CVT will work toward this
end by performing the following duties.
Dentistry: supra and sub gingival cleaning,
probing, polishing, charting, and maintenance of machine.
Laboratory - Run in house diagnostics, chemistry, CBC,
electrolytes, T4, fecals, urinalysis. Be able to evaluate blood smears
and perform differentials
Digital Radiology - Position Pets and become familiar with radiology
software.
Technician appointments
ICU - IV fluid administration, patient care and comfort monitoring
Surgery - Prep surgical patients and monitor pets under anesthesia
Education/Experience:
Associates degree or better in Applied Sciences from an accredited
Veterinary Technicians Program, licensed in Veterinary Technology
within the State of Minnesota.
We will accept canidates who offer extensive relevant experience.
Veterinary Assistant
The Veterinary Assistant performs a variety of
animal
healthcare duties to assist Veterinarians, Technicians, Client Care
Representatives, and Administration in providing the highest quality
medical care to the patients of Advanced Care Pet Hospital.
The
Veterinary Assistant works toward this end by performing the following
duties:
Patient Maintenance: Maintain a safe, sanitary and comfortable
environment for patients of all species. Feed patients and clean cages.
Patient Handling: Assist veterinarians and technicians with procedures
by preparing treatment area, restraining patients of all species, or
doing any other duty as required.
Facilities Maintenance: Clean exam tables, floors,
equipment, etc. after assisting in procedures. Assists in the wrapping
and sterilization of surgical packs.
